We are proud of our Sixth Form offer. We believe that everything we do is focused on providing an exciting, enjoyable, challenging and highly fulfilling programme, which enables the young men in our care to access wonderful pathways, whilst making a positive difference to the wider world.
Sherborne School is a selective school and, following registration, all boys are required to sit our entrance assessments in November of the year preceding entry. We are happy to receive Sixth Form enquiries and registrations at any time, although we do recommend this first stage is completed before the start of your son joining Year 11. To register your son, please email the Admissions Team to request a link to the registration portal. The registration will need to be completed alongside a £250 registration fee. You can also complete our enquiry form below, which registers your interest in 2025 entry and allows you to book onto our September Tour Afternoon.
A deposit will be required should a formal offer be made to your son following the assessments. Please see our Terms and Conditions for further information.
We invite talented and enthusiastic boys entering our Sixth Form to apply for various scholarships and exhibitions that we offer. These awards range from academic and creative to musical and sporting, and are assessed in November alongside those applying for general entry.

- GCSE results - August 2025. Places are confirmed by Admissions once we have your son’s results and provided that he has reached the grade condition of entry.
Late places do occasionally become available, so if you miss out on the main entrance process, please do still get in touch - we might be able to assist you.
