At Sherborne we can offer our boys regular coaching from the Professional at Sherborne Golf Club where our boys have membership and where they play up to three times each week. This can vary between time on the course, practice on the range or coaching sessions as a group or one to one.
Recent highlights include reaching the Area Final of the ISGA Singles competition, reaching the Regional Final of the HMC Foursomes in 2022, and winning the Inaugural Western Schools’ golf league. In 2022 Tom Stephens (U6d) finished 11th in the HMC Singles event at The Berkshire. Plus Theo Anderson Gannon has played for the full men’s 1st’s Somerset Golf team and also came 14th in the European Junior Open.
Fixtures are played against numerous local schools, at both senior and U16 level, and there are also playing opportunities against the OSGS and staff. There is also a House Cup and a year-long knock out challenge competition for all boys to enter.
