Meet Jack Robins, Sherborne School and Sherborne Prep's Head Gardener, with over 13 years of experience in Horticulture. Jack joined the Sherborne Group in November 2021 and works incredibly hard, keeping the School grounds looking immaculate. Jack's passion for gardening came when he left school working for a local landscaping company and later at Sherborne School as a contractor, before taking on the role as Head Gardener.
Jack recently took part in a competition on social media, run by a group known as 'Lawn Care Legends'. Jack was required to submit three photos of his work, showcasing his talent in the field of horticulture and was delighted to win second place (winning photo displayed below). Jack was presented with a mower, a blower, a new set of headphones and many other smaller items to support his gardening ventures!
As quoted by Jack ''My aspirations for the future are to apply my knowledge and passion to my position as Head Gardener at Sherborne and Sherborne Prep, and take the School's amazing grounds to another level. I would also like to further my horticultural knowledge by taking on further courses.''
