After a nearly two-year dearth of Inter School Clay Shooting Competitions, it was tremendous today to be back on the circuit at the Marlborough College Sporting Challenge. The boys enjoy and gain a great deal of experience from competitive matches.

The event was well attended by 11 schools, with 23 teams and 113 guns. Our rivals included teams from Eton, Harrow, Radley, Winchester, Marlborough, Millfield, and Cheltenham.

In ideal shooting conditions, the Sherborne team shot well, despite having only been together as a team since the start of term.

Sherborne's best result was in the Team Flush Competition where we were placed 4th out of 23 teams, just missing out on a podium position to Millfield, Marlborough, and Bradfield. In the Team Sporting Competition, we were placed 12th out of 23 teams.

We are now looking forward to our next Inter School match just after half term.
