The Hockey tour travelled to Barcelona, Spain on New Year’s Day, as preparation for the forthcoming hockey season. This was the biggest hockey tour from Sherborne School to date with 42 tourists in total.
After a day of preparation and the temperatures in the late teens the boys were prepared for a tough three days of fixtures. However, they were unfortunately not prepared for the quality of the opposition, which was reflected in the results!
A Special mention must go to Peter Robins who was awarded ‘Best GK of the tournament’ and to Will Mann for his conduct and Captaincy of the U16 team.
