The whole school took part in the annual inter-house cross country on Tuesday at Sherborne Castle. The weather conditions were near perfect with a little sunshine and a cool temperature. The boys were in excellent spirits and many showed tremendous grit and determination to get around the course.

There were some surprising results this year. The fastest three in the Inters were all 4th form and the fastest three in the Seniors were Lower Sixth (a).  Jordan Berry (L6a) could well be the 5th person since 1990 to win The Harding Trophy in two consecutive years. His time was an impressive 1 minute 7 seconds quicker than the previous year’s winner. George Case (4m) won the Inters with ease clearly proving he is an athlete to watch in the future.  The Digby, once again, were winners overall in both the Inter and Senior category.

Winners: Harry Clark (U6a), Jordan Berry (L6a), Freddie Baker (5d), George Case (4m) and Frey Hopkinson (3f)
