Sherborne’s Music department holds a reputation for excellence in a diverse range of musical disciplines and we are celebrating two fantastic achievements within the Music School this term. Congratulations go to Freddie Graham (U6c) who has achieved a Distinction in his Level 6 LTCL (Licentiate of Trinity College London) Performance Diploma. This is a stand-alone qualification in musical performance, comparable to the final year of an undergraduate degree in terms of level of demand.
Congratulations also go to Tom McCaig (U6b) who has been awarded his Level 4 ATCL (Associate Trinity College London) Performance Diploma. The ATCL requires a standard of playing comparable with the performance part of the first year of a music degree. Both Freddie and Tom should be extremely proud of their achievements.
Sherborne has recently awarded Music Scholarships to a number of boys due to start the School and we are very much looking forward to welcoming the next wave of musical talent.
