The Library throughout November was awash with poppies. Not only were staff and students wearing them, but they were also found throughout our displays. Our main board in the Undercroft showcased Remembrance Day display with war letters, whilst in the Upper Library there was a World War 1 showcase of non-fiction books and war poetry. Finally, in the Lower Library we had a display of war themed fiction books.
In other news, we are well into the yearly quizzing competition that the Library puts on. To date we have finished all the 1st round matches of the knockout Inter-House Literary Quiz. Congratulations are in order to Abbey House, Harper House, The Green and Lyon House who have all progressed to the semi-finals taking place in January.
