Sherborne has had great success again this year in the UK Intermediate Mathematics Challenge. A total of 83 boys from the Third, Fourth and Fifth Forms took part in the challenge and we were delighted that they came away with 10 Gold, 16 Silver and 25 Bronze certificates.

The Intermediate Challenge is aimed at pupils in Year 11 or below in England and Wales and involves answering 25 multiple choice questions over one hour. The top 40% of students nationally receive a gold, silver or bronze certificate in the ratio 1:2:3 and each institution receives a Best in School certificate.

Many congratulations to Ben Rainbow (5c)‎, James Cordery (5e)‎, Sam MacDonald (5c)‎, Olly Minchin (5g)‎, Claude Hopkins (4m)‎, Harry Le Maistre (4g)‎, Freddie Robinson (4f)‎, Richard Pun (3e)‎, Aaron Kim (3b)‎, Harry Harvey (3a) whom were all award Gold certificates.

Special thanks to Mrs Phippard and Mrs Rowlands for their hard work behind the scenes.
