TEDx comes to Sherborne

We are very excited to announce that Sherborne will be hosting it’s very own TEDx event on 9th May 2019.

Many of our boys are already fans of TED.com, and have been inspired, intrigued, fascinated or electrified by the powerful short talks they’ve discovered on the site.

TEDxSherborne doesn’t just offer opportunities for those with a burning desire to share an extraordinary idea or story, or who are aching to perform in the five-minute ‘interludes’ between talks. It offers them to everyone.

To make this inaugural event a success and ensure that it has a lasting positive impact on the future of the town and its people, we need everyone from willing ‘gofers’ to graphic designers, organising geniuses to social media mavens, those who are a whizz with a spreadsheet to AV specialists.

We are looking for support from parents in not only encouraging and supporting your children to get involved in whatever way they can, but also, if you can spare even a little time, by getting involved yourself.
