Sherborne School’s Cadet Regimental Sergeant Major, William Bond (U6b) has been appointed to the prestigious position of Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant’s Cadet for Dorset. William will assist the Lord-Lieutenant during the promotion of civic and ceremonial events.
William has recently returned from South Africa, taking part in adventure training and voluntary work by virtue of being one of ten cadets to be selected for the Westminster Award, from hundreds that were nominated by their units and passing a national selection event. This caps a fine year for William in the CCF and we wish him well in his new duties.
